I got the thick builder gel in the bottle. It works very nicely to build an apex and self-levels great. However... I can't figure out how to make this stay!!
I thought the issue might've been my prep but after trying a lot of different and thorough methods, as well as various brands of nail dehydrators and bonders (both Modeltones and Young Nails), I've come to the conclusion that this does not bond well to the nail.
It's been lifting from the free edge, not just chipping but lifting almost as an entire piece. I'm going to try it again with a thin base coat underneath it and see if that helps with the bonding.
Otherwise, it is really hard to get the tiny bubbles out of this since it is such a thick consistency and results in some tiny bubble specks on the nail. I can say this has ZERO heat spikes though!!
