This is my DIY HG

I’ve been DIYing my own extensions for years, and I feel like I’ve tried everything from full cover tips to acrylic to hard gel…and always had trouble finding something that didn’t lift, held up like acrylic but could be filed super thin.

This stuff is IT. It’s sort of like polygel and hard gel had a very strong baby.

Yes, it’s pricey but a tub will last a while! It’s a bit of a pain to work with - it’s beyond sticky (but it’s not runny, which is nice). I’m capable to building my extensions and using paper forms, but this stuff seems best with dual forms. I will note that a silicone brush thing is a MUST to pat it into place. And if you use an electric file, I’ve found ceramic bits to work best. This stuff is a bit fiddly - I was so discouraged the first time I tried it - but it gets easier every time.

I use the Mgart universal base with it, and my troublesome nail beds love it. No lifting. No chipping. Highly recommend at least giving this a go.

Damn near indestructible but cures yellow

It's a neat product but I would not buy again, especially at this high price point.

The clear cures fairly yellow compared to her structure building gel or the Jin B clear polygel. And it was really difficult to get out the bubbles.

I also did not think it so easy to apply compared to regular polygel.

The product cures very smooth and very hard. Like, I noticed it was much more difficult to use my efile to smooth out my mistakes and drill out under the nails because it wasn't making much of a dent.

In my attached photos, you'll see I did my left hand in the clear MG Art structure building gel and my right hand in the clear MG Art nano gel
