Quality of sterilization is determined by visually comparing the color of the indicator layer with the reference color. The reference colors are clearly marked on the indicator, ensuring accurate and straightforward evaluation.
In the indicator shows that it can be used in both cases, dry and steam so I tried it on the autoclave but it didn't change color on any of the ones I put inside running a normal cycle. But it does work for dry. Left an image where it can be set a computation between the microstop indicator and others that I have of class 4, run in the same cycle but in just one of the indicators of Microstop you can see a faint purple color, the other indicators even the class 5 all test positive for steam exposure. So… conclusion, works for dry heat sterilization but it doesn't work for autoclave or steam sterilization
